*** THIS IS A NUMBER PICKER FOR THE POWERBALL LOTTERY *** ************** ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY! ************** Been stuck by lightning? Well, some say you're more likely to get zapped by a thunderbolt than to win the lottery. You can increase your chances of winning by buying more than one ticket. Likewise wrapping yourself in foil and playing a round of golf in a storm ups the likelihood of that lightning thing. I would recommend avoiding the latter and just buy a ticket. There are many theories about selecting numbers for the lottery. Lucky numbers, frequently picked numbers, numbers that are due or "hot". If there was a way to narrow down your option, please let me know as I'd love to give myself an edge. But as many will probably tell you, it's just a random set of numbers that gets drawn and if your numbers match those numbers...JACKPOT! I've tried many ways to win and the conclusion I've come up with is that I don't know how to predict the numbers being selected in the lottery. So I usually have them pick the numbers for me; "Quick Pick". Haven't really had much luck there either but at least it doesn't take a whole lot of research. So why even bother with an app to pick those numbers for you? Why not? Literally. It can't hurt. I would suppose that technically the way this app selects random numbers may differ from the way the lottery people pick them. In any case I personally like the ILLUSION of control on my part. If I pick the numbers I feel like I've done my part. When I have them picked for me I always think to myself that their machine does not have my best interest at heart. I know that's totally irrational, but then again so is playing the lottery! So here we are. A simple app to help you select those random numbers in the hopes that you will be the next multi-millionaire. This is specifically for the U.S. Powerball lottery. There's not much to it. You tap that big green "Make Me Rich" button (no claims as to it's obvious delusions of grandeur here...it just sounds like a lot of bragging to me) and a set of randomly picked numbers pop up on the appropriate balls. Five white balls between 1 & 69, and one red ball between 1 & 26. Simple. Have a "bad feeling" about that pick? Tap the button again. I make no guarantees here that my app is any better or worse than any other process one might use to pick their lottery numbers. I think it's a bit more fun to pick them myself so I made this app. I hope you enjoy it. PS: If you win big using this app I'd love to hear about it.
